UroLift Treatment for BPH Symptoms

The UroLift System is a minimally invasive treatment option for urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH.

BPH is enlargement of the prostate that is not cancer. Because the prostate surrounds the urethra, enlarged prostate tissue can restrict urine flow and cause weak stream, urgency, frequency, nighttime urination, starting and stopping, or incomplete emptying.

UroLift uses small implants to hold enlarged tissue away from the urethra without cutting, heating, or removing prostate tissue. Prostate size, anatomy, symptoms, urinary retention history, and other findings help determine candidacy.
