Prostate & Urination Problems

Weak stream, nighttime bathroom trips, urgency, or enlarged prostate symptoms can often be improved.

Care for Prostate and Urinary Symptoms

Dr. Thatcher helps patients understand urinary symptoms related to enlarged prostate, prostate conditions, and other urologic causes.

Urinary symptoms can include weak stream, frequent urination, urgency, starting and stopping, incomplete emptying, or getting up often at night. These symptoms may be caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia, commonly called BPH, or by other bladder and urinary tract concerns.

Treatment may include testing, medication, minimally invasive options such as UroLift for appropriate candidates, or surgical care when symptoms are more severe or not improving enough with conservative treatment.
